Hearing protection - EN 352

EN 352 is a European standard series that specifies requirements, testing and marking for hearing protectors. It applies to both passive and electronic hearing protectors.

The standard is divided into several parts depending on the type of protection.

SNR (Single Number Rating) is a number that tells you how many decibels (dB) of noise a hearing protector can reduce on average.

HML values indicate how much the hearing protector attenuates noise in different frequency ranges.

They are stated in accordance with the EN 352 standard on hearing protectors in addition to the SNR value.
